1. Measure & Rinse: Place 1 cup of rice in a saucepan. Rinse with cold water 2–3 times until the water runs clear, then drain.
2. Cook: Add 2 cups of water to the saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 15 minutes, or until water is absorbed.
3. Rest: Remove from heat and let it stand for 15 minutes before serving.

For Sushi Rice:

1. Transfer cooked rice to a mixing bowl.
2. Dissolve 1 tbsp of caster sugar, ¼ tsp of salt, and 1½ tbsp of rice vinegar, then mix into the rice using a wooden spoon.
3. Allow the rice to cool before preparing sushi.

Cautions

• Ensure proper water ratio to achieve the desired texture.
• Do not wash excessively, as it may remove too much starch needed for stickiness.

• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity.
• Seal tightly after opening to maintain freshness.
